I was blessed to grow up with Jesus and horses. Most of my young adult life was spent busily serving and working for the Lord. Serving and working for the Lord are not bad things but, in my life it was not a true relationship with Jesus. I was so busy doing Jesus work that I neglected the most important thing, spending time with Him. I finally came to this realization during a revival that simply working for the Lord is not the same as living for the Lord. Wow, what a difference in my life! I began to slow down on working and serving and put my relationship with Jesus as the top priority in my life. I began a journey of total surrender. I said yes to the Lord and began to live Matthew 16:24 “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

In the moment I didn’t know what my purpose and calling was but I felt God calling me and I knew He had a plan. In time He would reveal it when I was ready to receive it. I continued to seek Him spending time reading His Word, praying and listening for the next step. Little did I know He was preparing me for the hardest 12 months of my life. Over the next 12 months I went through the loss of loved ones, a devastating blow to my marriage, the betrayal of a friend and physical injures. It was a tough time in my life but

I praise Him for preparing my heart. As those storms began to rage He reminded me of the things He had spoken to my heart while I was sitting at His feet praying and seeking Him. Without the total surrender and preparation I would not have survived those storms. It made a seemingly impossible situation possible. He made a way for me to go through the storms totally relying on Him. I believed that He would make a way to turn the ashes into beauty and He would be with me every step of the way.

I am thankful that through the love of Jesus and the love of my horses, healing began. Through equine therapy God was able to heal me from my past. God used equine coaching to reveal and confirm the plan He had for my life: to share the love of Jesus and horses to encourage others to believe that with Him all things are possible

In November of 2014, God whispered the phrase Believe … finding encouragement through the love of Jesus and horses. Over the next couple of years God began to give me the puzzle pieces for the vision He had for my life. Sharing the love of Jesus and horses, to give encouragement, and to help others believe that with Him all things are possible through Christ who gives us strength!

During this journey He led me down a path to become a Christian Lay Counselor, Christian Life Coach, and an Equine Specialist. He led me to Hope Remains Ranch where He completed the puzzle where I am able to use these pieces to share the hope of Jesus and to turn my history into HiStory!
