American Underdogs (Spring-2022)
If you’ve not seen the movie, American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story, I encourage you to do so. It’s such an inspirational true story of Kurt Warner, who overcomes years of challenges and setbacks to become a two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback. Just when his dreams seem all but out of reach, it’s only with the support of his wife, Brenda, and the encouragement of his family, coaches and teammates that Warner perseveres and finds the strength to show the world the champion that he already is.
At Hope Remains Ranch we’ve seen our fair share of underdogs. Much like Kurt Warner, our underdogs are in human form too and they range anywhere from 5 years of age to adulthood. Behind the underdogs at the ranch, you’ll find a broken family trying to heal, a praying board of directors, a team of mentors, staff and volunteers fervently searching for ways to stand in the gap and a horse, sacrificing his or her grazing time to reach and teach the underdog about the hope found in Christ alone…
