From the Horse’s Mouth
A MESSAGE FROM FOUNDER & CEO MELANIE WATT
When I was twelve years old, while grooming my horse, Princess, the Lord placed a calling on my heart to one day create a ministry for hurting children. What began as a dream has become something far greater than I ever imagined.
Today, Hope Remains Ranch exists to provide a place where children, adults, and families can experience healing, discover purpose, and find lasting hope through Jesus Christ. We believe God can transform weakness into strength, sorrow into joy, and brokenness into restoration.
Throughout my years as a teacher, I witnessed firsthand the struggles many children face. I saw the effects of abuse, neglect, broken homes, gang involvement, substance abuse, and hopelessness. Many young people cried out for help through destructive behaviors, academic failure, crime, or even thoughts of suicide.
The world often offers judgment, but Christ calls us to be a light. Rather than condemn those who are hurting, we strive to influence lives through compassion, truth, and love. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when dreams come true, there is life and joy (Proverbs 13:12).
Our logo represents the crown of thorns Jesus wore and serves as a reminder that true hope is found through His sacrifice and love. Every child, adult, and family who walks through our gates matters deeply to God, and they matter deeply to us.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Hope Remains Ranch. We invite you to join us in bringing hope, healing, and restoration to those who need it most.
