I became involved in biblical counseling a little over 12 years ago through my local church in Texas. I attended a fundamentals training hosted by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and became convicted by God’s truths that were shared there. Since then I pursued certification and immediately began working with individuals that God placed in my life, both through the church, through a business that I owned and through friends and family. I’ve never looked back as wherever I am, I know God has put me to work to help those who are struggling.

I’m a native Texan, and I have lived in Colorado and Virginia, but two years ago, the Lord brought us to the beautiful state of South Carolina and I’ve quickly adapted to its culture, geography, weather and people! I am a mother of 2 amazing adult daughters who are married to 2 fantastic young men. I’ve been happily married for 27 years to my husband Ken and I love to serve alongside him in his ministry. I am an active member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church in Moore, SC, where my husband is on staff as the Executive Pastor. When I’m not counseling or volunteering at church, I stay busy with school work, as I am pursuing a second counseling certification through ACBC and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling through Luther Rice College & Seminary. Ken and I have two fur babies named Jack and Gracie and in our spare time we love to hike with them in the mountains. We also try to spend time as much time as we can with our girls and their husbands.
